What we'd like from you is kind of obvious....

• the name of the establishment
• where it is to be found
• opening hours, if at all unusual

And then, the detail of the glories to be found

• the externals:  how does it look?  Big or wee?  Crusty or soft?  Well-fired?  etc
• the internals:  is it crumbly or soggy?  Heavy or light texture?  etc
• the accompaniments:  butter or spread?  Jam:  pot, plasticised portion, home-made, etc

Anything else a fellow Sconophile should know?  You might want to comment on the quality of the beverages available; the quality of service; price;  toilets, and so on. You might even be able to pass on information about the cook.  It all adds to the Scone experience.

 

Finally, please give a rating to the scone(s), and to the venue.  5 stars is obviously the very best, the Grail of the scone world, so should be used only where absolutely warranted.  We cannot tolerate inflationary scores in this business.
